Girl On Fire
Fire was the inspiration for this photo manipulation piece. A picture of a girl with hot pink hair, and another of hot coal were combined to create the illusion of burning coal on the head.
The quick select tool was used to separate the subjects from their backgrounds. The eraser was used to soften the edges of the hair, coal and fire. The clone tool was used to copy the coal to make the area bigger, and to make more fire and smoke. The healing brush tool was used to blend the clones to make the edges softer.
